Legal information
Cookie policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your device when you visit a website. They can serve technical purposes (making the website work), analytics purposes (traffic statistics) or advertising purposes (tracking behavior across websites).
2. Which cookies succes-seo.ro uses
Currently, the succes-seo.ro website does not set any first-party tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The website is built as a static site, with no user accounts, no session-based forms and no third-party marketing scripts. For this reason, the website does not display a consent banner — there is no cookie-based processing that would require your consent.
The hosting provider and the website’s content delivery and security network (Cloudflare) may set strictly technical cookies that are necessary for delivering the website (for example, for load balancing or protection against automated attacks). These are exempt from the consent requirement under the applicable legislation, as they are strictly necessary for the website to function. Fonts are hosted on our own website, so no third-party font services are contacted when pages load.
3. Local browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage)
To work the way you expect, the website and its tools save a few preferences exclusively in your browser. They are not cookies, they are not sent to our server or to third parties, and they are not used for tracking:
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ss-tema | Remembers the theme you chose (light or dark) | Until you delete it |
ss-* (e.g. ss-brief, ss-geo) | Remembers the values entered in the tools and the draft quote request (including your name and message, if you filled them in), so you don’t lose them on reload. They stay only on your device; on a shared computer you can remove them from your browser settings (“Clear site data”) | Until you delete them |
ss-lt (sessionStorage) | Remembers for a few seconds that you just switched language, so the transition can play on the new page | A few seconds / until you close the tab |
ss-lang-hint | Remembers that you dismissed the language-switch suggestion | Until you delete it |
ss-vitals-off (sessionStorage) | Remembers that you hid the “Live Vitals” indicator during the current session | Until you close the tab |
Because they are strictly tied to functions you requested (display preferences and continuing your work in the tools), this data does not require consent. You can delete it from your browser settings (“Site data” / “Local storage”).
4. Future changes
If we introduce analytics tools (for example, traffic statistics) or other technologies that use non-essential cookies, this page will be updated beforehand, and where the law requires it we will request consent through a banner-type mechanism with genuine accept and reject options.
5. How to control cookies in your browser
Regardless of the website, you can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge): you can block all cookies, only third-party cookies, or delete existing cookies. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how some websites work.
